BARAAT | 2:30 PM

In Hindu weddings, the Groom is led to the marriage venue in a procession known as the Baraat. This celebratory tradition involves upbeat music and dancing as the Groom makes his way through the procession. Traditionally the Grooms family and friends lead the celebration, but we request all our guests to join and partake in the fun

HINDU CEREMONY | 3:00 PM

Following the Baraat the Hindu wedding ceremony will take place. The Hindu ceremony is steeped in tradition and rituals that date back to 3000 BC. The various steps will be described by our priest as he recites prayers to bless our union in marriage

Men: Suits, kurtas, or sherwanis

CATHOLIC CEREMONY | 4:00 PM

After a short intermission for the Bride and Groom to change their attire we will proceed with the Catholic ceremony. Combining both western and traditional Knanaya customs, the Bride and Groom will exchange vows and take each other's hand in marriage. Some traditions to take note of is  tying of the Thali which represents stability in marriage, the exchange of the wedding sari gifted by the groom to the bride as a reflection to protect and provide for each other in marriage and ring exchange. After the couple has said their "I do's" we ask all our guests to partake in The Nada Villi which is a ritualistic cheer to the bride and groom. The Nada Villi is done three times to celebrate the new married couple.

COCKTAIL HOUR | 4:45 PM

Shashots and T-Niz bombs on us as we ask our guest to enjoy light refreshments, snacks and mingle in celebration of the bride and groom.

RECEPTION | 6:00 PM

Time to celebrate! Find your seat and get to know everyone at your table as we continue the night celebrating this monumental moment in our lives. Eat, drink and dance the night away. And join us in the winery barrel room for an after party to continue the celebrations. We can't wait to have you there!
